Interlude.

During my stay at Mirage, I went for a leisurely walk. Mirage is next to La Grande River, which is a big part of the hydro complex.(see my earlier post(part 6) for one of the dams)

This is something that is distinct in Northern Quebec: Mighty rivers. It’s easy to see why the area would be good for hydro power. There are half a dozen big rivers…much larger than most of what we’re used to in Ontario. Wider than I could capture with the camera(or my eyes), and with powerful flows of water.
