Chronology

Looking back, I’ve been on a ton of great road/day/camping trips.  I find it interesting to lay them all out in order, so here is my trip history.

2005
-Bruce Peninsula | Day trip
(this was my very first “road trip”. a somewhat boring 3.5 hour drive.  also my first exposure to provincial/national parks)

2006

(first trip to Algonquin)
-Failed road trip to French River/Parry Island
(car broke down at French River. did get to see the Parry Island ghost town on the way back)

2007

2008

(first major trip out of province. not really a normal road trip as I rode in a tour bus and generally followed a preset itinerary…but it was exploring and seeing new places)

(second personal camping trip, at the time it was the farthest I had personally driven from home)

-4 week road trip to:  Pukaskwa, Sleeping Giant, Whiteshell, Cypress Hills, Waterton Lakes, Banff, Jasper, Stewart BC, Salmon Glacier, Hyder Alaska, Cassiar Highway, Dease Lake, Telegraph Creek, Kluane National Park Yukon, Muncho Lake BC, Neys Provincial Park
(longest distance total: 15,000km. first solo road trip)

2014
